Honestly nothing too much trouble. Great budget hotel in a really friendly area near Hexham, Thirsk and the square. Central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels available in the standard twin room. Excellent personnel, extremely comfy bed.

loved the clean room, and that queen-size bed was a nice surprise. the view looking out at sutton bank was jaw-dropping. the lodge's location is super convenient - just a quick hop over to the square. the staff were so friendly - shoutout to lesley and sally for being real stars!
